Traditional web applications are sandboxed, and unable to leverage the vast array of fast low level code available on the command line. We can securely access this and make ti available in an easy to understand and open way to the author.
This is not just command-line tools but any libraries out there in C / C++ and Java. In particular we want to look at openFrameworks
